Oskar Felber embarks on a profound exploration of emotional abstraction. In recent works, we trace two directions that further evolve the visual reduction and departure from concrete motifs. He combines geometric shapes, primarily squares and rectangles, inserting them into planar compositions. These mosaic-like blocks or imaginary stylized flags create horizontal-vertical combinations, through which he achieves a balance between serenity and vitality.
Oskar Felber (1992, Košice, lives in Prague) studied at the Faculty of Arts of the Technical University in Košice in the Studio of Contemporary Painting led by doc. Adam Szentpétery. He actively exhibits in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and his works are represented in numerous private collections as well as in the collection of the East Slovak Gallery in Košice.
